Description : Several thousand people marched on Sunday between Place de la République and Place de la Nation in Paris, in response to a call made on social media to express their "love for France". At the origin of the movement, a video published in mid-September by the influencer Ben Le Patriote, spokesperson for the association Les Patriotes de la Diversité. Alongside Henda Ayari, president of the association, he had denounced the presence of pro-Palestinian tags and flags on the monument of the Republic, calling on the French to gather around the tricolor flag. The video, widely shared online, garnered millions of views and sparked a mobilization presented by its initiators as "citizen" and "apolitical". The organizers claim to have removed any association banner to keep only the French flag as a common symbol. During the procession, some far-right slogans, such as "We are at home", were nevertheless heard, despite the organizers' insistence on the non-partisan nature of the demonstration.
