Description : This week, a 23-year-old man named Quentin was violently attacked on Thursday, February 12 during a protest organized against a conference by Eurodeputy Rima Hassan (LFI) at the Institute of Political Studies in Lyon (Sciences Po). He was there to support a protest action by the Némésis collective, an identitarian and nationalist group, and was beaten up, suffering serious injuries before being taken to the hospital. He died on Saturday, February 14 from his injuries, according to the Lyon prosecutor's office which has opened an investigation for aggravated manslaughter and aggravated assault. The exact circumstances of the attack are yet to be determined and the perpetrators have not yet been identified. The family has called for calm despite the emotion stirred by the young man's death.
