Cadmium scandal: a doctor's advice

Description : General practitioner Michel Campano from Doctors' Alert on Pesticides (AMLP) warns against exposure to cadmium. This heavy metal, present in many everyday foods, especially wheat-based products, is deemed responsible for the rise in cancer cases in recent years. He provides advice on how to limit exposure to cadmium through diet, and calls on MPs to vote on the proposal by Benoît Biteau and Clémentine Autain, which will be examined in early June, aiming to further restrict cadmium levels in fertilizers.
