Fire in Gironde: firefighters protect homes in Lège-Cap-Ferret

Description : Firefighters are battling in the middle of populated areas to stop the advance of the largest fire of the season. Starting from Saumos, the blaze has already covered more than 10,000 hectares up to the Cap Ferret peninsula, leading to the massive evacuation of 40,000 people. On the ground, more than a thousand rescue workers are mobilized.
