Description : On Monday, May 19th, several thousand taxis mobilized across France - in Paris, Strasbourg, Marseille, Nantes, Bastia, and Pau - to protest against the proposed reform of the pricing of medical transportation presented by the Health Insurance, as well as against the deemed unfair competition of VTCs. In Paris, the demonstrators notably blocked Boulevard Raspail in the 7th arrondissement. The riot police used tear gas to disperse some gathered drivers.
